Class
Today in class we talked about our exam. Mr schick also explained to us about all the info needed is on the blog. He also included all the essay questions that we will have to choose from and write out. This is very helpful because i took the time to write them out and prepare the correct response. And then after school i went and retook the test because i didnt do well when i first took it.

Today in class we reviewed previous tests we took to help us for our upcoming exam in Human Geo. I collected the tests and wrote down the right answers so that i can use them to study. Since the exam will be what was on our tests that is why he gave us the tests in order to prepare for the exam.

Today in class Mr Schick was not there because he had to help set up for one of his competitions.

- Religion can also be dividing force around the world
- - hindus and muslims fight in india and Pakistan (hindu) (muslim)
- Jews, christians and muslims all claim Jerusalem as their religions holy site. they are constantly fighting over the land

Culture characteristics
- Culture characteristics are parts of a groups everyday life. They are the ideas of themes which the group will teach to all members. These same characteristics can also link divide a region.
- Examples of culture characteristics would be language, religion and ethnic heritage
- Canada is a bilingual nation French and English are their official languages
Examples of cultural characteristics
- Switzerland has multiple languages but very little conflict but very little conflict between the groups
- English is now considered the world language and is used for most business transactions around the world
- Yugoslavia, many ethnic groups were made into one country
