class notes
Today in class we reviewed things they talked about on friday in class because some people were not in class because of the freshman retreat. We looked at a power point that had facts written on it and then Mr Shick explained everything to us. Some of those things we talked about were interesting. One of those things we talked about were life expectancy. Life expectancy is the average number of years to be lived by a group of people born in the same year. Right now on this earth there are over 7 billion people. The number is increasing by over 73 million per year. The crude birth rate is the number of births per 1000 of the population. And the crude death rate is the number of deaths per 1000 of the population. The net migration rate is the difference between the number of persons entering and leaving a country during a year.
